This is the website of the Lockhart Air Force Junior Reserved Officer Training Corps Unit at Lockhart High School, established in the year 2000. We are a cadet-lead organization, with guidance from the instructors, and perform a weekly routine of activities to promote values of citizenship and community. Other services the Corps offers to cadets is a string of non-mandatory activities deemed CIA (Cirriculum-in-Action). These are incentive-based opportunities to further instill leadership and knowledge in to our cadets.

 

Among the activities performed weekly, cadets are required to wear the AFJROTC uniform to the standards stated in the Cadet Guide provided at the beginning of the school year. Further, standard physical training (PT) clothes are issued to perform a "Wellness" Day. This is to encourage followership and fitness, as a single or handful of cadets per flight will lead the group in physical and team-building activities.
